Spas in Maryland
Relax and enjoy the experience in our Garden Spa and please consider these suggestions:
How early should I arrive for a treatment?
Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your appointment for check-in which will allow ample time to complete a brief and confidential health history as required by Maryland law. By arriving early, you will be relaxed and be able to fully enjoy your experience.
May I request a male or female therapist?
Yes, advance appointments have the option of making a gender request for their treatments although due to schedule changes, the garden spa cannot guarantee that the request can be met at all times. If you must have a specific gender therapist, we suggest that you let the spa coordinators know when scheduling your appointments and they will try to accommodate your request.
Do I have to disrobe entirely for a treatment?
No. We want you to be comfortable. You may wear a leotard, swimsuit or undergarment if you wish. However, this may affect your treatment. Keep in mind that our therapists are trained to drape you discreetly and to protect your privacy at all times as dictated by our professional code of ethics.
Should I tell my therapist if I have any physical ailments, disabilities or allergies?
Yes. Some health treatments may not be appropriate with certain health conditions. All health concerns should be listed on the short confidential health history form. Many of our treatments are botanic, plant extract and herb based, so please consider this when choosing your treatment if you have allergies or are pregnant.
Should I wear jewelry to my session?
We suggest that you leave your valuables locked in your room safe. You will need to remove necklaces, earrings, watches and bracelets for your treatments.
Can I bring my cell phone?
We want all of our guests to relax during their treatment at our spa. We request all cell phones and pagers be turned off while you are in the spa.
